HOW OUR GUITAR LESSONS ARE DIFFERENT..
Here at Geordie Riffs guitar lessons are handled a bit differently. There’s no exams, minimum theory and no boring songs! You’ll learn all the skills you need to play guitar. Our goal is to get you playing what you want as quickly as possible. We have a proven track record of making guitar players out of people of all ages and walks of life. Lessons are backed up with custom handouts, bespoke video recaps and even Mp3 recordings!! We offer guitar lessons of 30 minutes and 1 hour as well as FREE jam sessions!!
Geordie Riffs students receive special discounts from our workshop for any repairs or guitar servicing. You’ll also receive discounts from top manufacturers and stores including our partners Seymour Duncan, Blackstar Amplification, IK Multimedia, Rotosound and many more! This ranges from guitars, amps, hardware, pickups, recording software, pedals, straps, gigbags, picks and everything else in between!!

Doing well with your Guitar Lessons? Got nothing to do on Saturday? Fancy rocking out with a pro guitarist?
Come along to our free jamming sessions where we can jam the day away with songs of your choosing! You’ll also gain experience of playing with another guitarist which will greatly improve your playing and help if you decided to join bands or create your own!
This is in addition to guitar lessons but you must have a foundation and library of songs in order to jam. You will however learn how to play with someone else which will put you in a great place going forward in your guitar journey, especially if you want to join a band in the future!
All on a first come first served basis! If you’re interested you know what to do…give me a shout!

Studio
Our studio is packed full of some of the best equipment in the world!!
We use the studio for Geordie Riff Students during lessons so you can experiment with different effects, amps and tones! Want to sound like Gilmour, May, Hendrix, Slash?? NO PROBLEM! We also offer a day course on how to record yourself in your own home!!
The studio has official amp simulators for Fender, Orange, Mesa Boogie, Engl, Marshall and that’s just naming a few! As well as signature gear from the likes of Jimi Hendrix, Joe Satriani, Slash, Dimebag Darrell and Brian May.
We have in house valve and solid state amps from our friends at Blackstar, stomp boxes and pedal boards to add as many effects as you would like. Honestly there’s too much to list!

We use a variety of different recording methods based on your preference such as Amplitube5 MAX, TONEX. Garageband, Reaper and Pro Tools!
